Mint can grow quickly as it is a somewhat persistent plant. If you have a yard surrounding your home, it is better to use such a space to prevent your home from the mouse attack by growing mint plant. Repelling mouse naturally with mint has been applied since a long time ago and is proven to work in some occasions.
Scatter the mint leaf to suspicious areas of mice to discourage them;
When you realize the signs of the coming of mouse such as droppings, odor, sound, hole, or nest, it is better for you to immediately respond such a finding with quick action. Unless you will find your important stuffs chewed up and badly damaged by such a rodent, repelling mouse naturally with mint is necessarily done. Find the fresh leaves of mint, combine the extract of mint with water if necessary, and spread out them to where the mouse might pass or nest.
Use modern forms of mint to repel mouse in specific places;
If you do not want to bother to find and regularly replace the fresh leaves of mint, using modern form of its extraction such as peppermint oil or soap is sometimes preferable. As mice tend to dwell or build their nests in the basements, dark corners, and other closed and dirty areas, repelling mouse with mint can be done effectively using the proper form of such a plant i.e. peppermint soap inside cabinets and peppermint oil outside it.
